CASE STUDY: Security World Cup
Project Background
The client aimed to launch a competition for its sales staff to foster healthy rivalry among regions. Each sale involving a security solution would be meticulously recorded in the system, with points assigned based on factors like deal type, customer type, and strategic partner.
In addition to maintaining a comprehensive transaction log and showcasing recent sales, the company aspired to implement a dynamic leaderboard that displayed each region’s flag, current points breakdown, and standings. They also sought to introduce the option of awarding bonus points through monthly challenges to further incentivise performance.
CHALLENGES:
Sales had to be recorded in a centralised location, regardless of region, with points calculated automatically. Additionally, a review option was necessary to verify the legitimacy of each entry.
SOLUTIONS:
Central Dashboard: Sales are recorded digitally in the Win Library, featuring a Premier League-style scoreboard that provides live updates on team standings.
Score Keeping: Points are automatically calculated based on responses selected in the form, eliminating the potential for errors.
Verification: Automated notifications are sent to Admins to verify sales when a win is recorded. Once verified, the win is allocated, and the team’s score is updated.
Bonus Points: Weekly and monthly challenges are posted that are worth specific points. These can only be awarded by the admins.
The Result
The live leaderboard displays the top 10 teams and their scores. Weekly and monthly challenges are posted, and points are awarded manually to the winning teams as Bonus Points. This healthy competition between regions drives increased sales.
